My personal go to around the house and the grocery store (don't judge) are a nice pair of slim joggers, with pockets, of course! This is a great introduction to sewing with knits and will answer that baffling question, "How can you accidentally make pants into a skirt." The answer is, way easier than you think! Aside from my own personal sewing fails, we will learn about working with knits, finishing edges and oodles of more sewing skills!
List of Supplies to Bring to Class:
Slim Fit Jogger:
- Main Fabric:
- 2 yards of knit fabric like french terry or ponte knit (make sure it's medium weight) or knit waffle cotton (think thermal undershirts)
- Cuffs and Top Band:
- 1 yard of knit ribbing
- 1 yard of 1.5" of elastic
Also Bring:
- Lunch, two snacks and a water bottle
