Advanced Sewing Camp: Overalls

As Made Sewing gets older, so do our students, and we are super excited to introduce a few new camps for our older, more seasoned students who are looking for a next level challenge. These camps will have fewer students so we can focus on reading patterns, more advanced techniques, and my favorite, cutting their own fabric. Seriously though, I hate cutting fabric, so this is going to be so relaxing for me! So, let's take it to the next level with making your very own overalls (long or short).

In this three-day camp, you Choose Your Own Adventure, which means you can choose any overalls pattern you want. We personally like these patterns: McCall's 7626, McCall's 8162, McCall's 8437, Simplicity 8855.

Supplies to bring for sewing:

• A list will be sent prior to class and will depend on the style the student chooses. 

Please also bring:

• A mask that will be worn at all times.
• Lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle.
• Appropriate outdoor wear for lunch (we sometimes go outside during breaks.)

Class Level: Students should have several large projects under their belt and have a good working knowledge of the sewing machine. Please contact us to make sure your child is a good fit for this class if you are concerned. 

Cancellation Policy: No refunds are offered for classes or camps. If you cancel at least 72 hours before class begins, we can apply the class fees to another class/camp. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class begins, or no-shows, forfeit their class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may also be a forfeit of class fees. Please call. Inclement weather, as well as school and government mandated closures, have the same cancellation policy.
