Beginner Bootcamp (2 Day Class)
Class Level: Adult/Teen Beginner Sewing
Location: Made Sewing Studio: 124 N 103rd St. Suite A, Seattle WA 98133
Wanna get a real jump start on learning to sewing or maybe you just want a refresher? Well, our two-day bootcamp is right up your alley! In this class we will make three easy projects that will get in the sewing groove. We will learn the machine, sewing terminology and gadgets, and will make an infinity scarf (or several), the Cinch Tote, and a pair of sassy PJ Bottoms.
Over the two day camp students will make these items:
- Infinity Scarf
- Cinch Tote
- PJ Pants
Supplies To Bring For Class:
For Infinity Scarves: 1yd pre-washed cotton or other lightweight, not stretch fabric (we might make two, so get 1yd of two different fabrics if you want),
For Cinch Tote: 1yd pre-washed cotton or home decor fabric, 1/4 of contrasting fabric for cinch band, and 2yds of strap material (also called webbing)
For PJs: 3yds of non-stretch fabric (if you want a long one, go for more fabric), 1 package of 1" elastic, matching thread.
- We have limited supplies on hand. All supplies will need to be purchased off site.
- This class includes a short break for snacks and to relax. Feel free to bring food, water or go out and grab a snack on the break.
Class Level: This class is for Adult Beginner Sewists. No previous experience is required.
Cancellation/Return Policy: No refunds are offered for classes or camps. Cancellations received 72 hours before class start, can be transferred to future classes/camps. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class start or no-shows may forfeit class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may be a forfeit of class fees. COVID and other government mandated shutdowns have the same cancellation/Return policy.
