Machine Basics

Are you ready to get to learn how to use a sewing machine? In this class you will learn to thread the needle, wind and thread a bobbin, try basic stitches, and learn about different presser feet. We will also talk about basic sewing tools and supplies. If there is time, you can also make a handy little pin cushion. If you have ever wondered what would happen if you put your pedal to the metal, this is the class for you! On a sewing machine of course, we aren't the DMV.

• Want to learn YOUR machine? Bring it in with you! (Make sure to bring the cord, the foot pedal, the manual if you have it, and a bobbin or two.) 

Class Level: This class is for Adult Beginner Sewists. No previous experience is required.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds are offered for classes or camps. If you cancel at least 72 hours before class begins, we can apply the class fees to another class/camp. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class begins, or no-shows, forfeit their class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may also be a forfeit of class fees. Please call. Inclement weather, as well as school and government mandated closures, have the same cancellation policy.
