Beginner Bootcamp: AM Time - Saturday & Sunday

Wanna get a real jump start on learning to sewing or maybe you just want a refresher? Well, our two-day bootcamp is right up your alley! In this class you will make three easy projects that will get you in the sewing groove: an infinity scarf (or several), a cinch tote, and a pair of sassy PJ bottoms. You will also learn to use the sewing machine, sewing terminology, and gadgets.

Over the two-day camp students will make these items:

• Infinity Scarf
• Cinch Tote
• PJ Bottoms

Supplies to bring (NOTE: Please pre-wash all fabric): 

For Infinity Scarves: 1 yard pre-washed cotton or other lightweight, non-stretch fabric (we might make two, so get 1 yard of two different fabrics if you want), 

For the Cinch Tote: 1 yard pre-washed cotton or home decor fabric, 1/4 yard of contrasting fabric for the cinch band, and 2 yards of strap material (also called webbing). 

For the PJ Bottoms: 3 yards of cotton or flannel non-stretch fabric for shorts (OR 3.5 yards for long pants), 1 package of 1" elastic, and matching thread.

Please note:

• We have limited supplies on hand. All supplies will need to be purchased off site.
• This class includes a short break for snacks and to relax. Feel free to bring food and water, or go out and grab a snack on the break. 

Class Level: This class is for Adult Beginner Sewists. No previous experience is required.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds are offered for classes or camps. If you cancel at least 72 hours before class begins, we can apply the class fees to another class/camp. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class begins, or no-shows, forfeit their class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may also be a forfeit of class fees. Please call. Inclement weather, as well as school and government mandated closures, have the same cancellation policy.
