Embroidery and Hand Sewing (Tuesdays) - In Studio

It's time to learn the beautiful artistic expression of embroidery! In this club we explore the fine art of embroidery and hand sewing. Embroidery has been around for centuries, and you would be hard pressed to not find it in every nook and cranny of your house!  Kids will learn common embroidery and hand sewing stitches through a selection of fun and exciting projects. We won’t be doing any boring stitch books, this is all about learning through creative and fun projects like constellations, sun bursts, monogramming and much more. We will of be mixing this with useful skills from mending and string stitches to hand sew when you don’t have a sewing machine. No experience necessary. Bonus- all supplies are included!!

Day: Tuesdays

Fall Session (11 weeks): 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10 (No class on 11/26 )

Winter Session (10 weeks): 1/21,1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/2 (no class 2/18)

Spring Session: TBD

Time: 4:00-5:30

Age of Student: 2nd grade and up

Classroom Location: Made Sewing Studio 124 N 103rd St, Suite A

Supplies needed for class:

• All materials are provided for this class.

Please also bring:

• A mask that will be worn at all times within the studio as needed.

Class Level: This class is for Beginner Kid Sewists in 2nd grade and up. No previous experience is required.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds are offered for classes or camps. If you cancel at least 72 hours before class begins, we can apply the class fees to another class/camp. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class begins, or no-shows, forfeit their class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may also be a forfeit of class fees. Please call. Inclement weather, as well as school and government mandated closures, have the same cancellation policy.
